Real Madrid and Sevilla Interested To Sign Boca Juniors Striker Sergio Araujo

Real Madrid and Sevilla Interested To Sign Boca Juniors Striker Sergio Araujo - The 18-year-old is regarded as having the potential to become a world star, and follow in the footsteps of the likes of Sergio Aguero and Gonzalo Higuain by successfully making the move to the Spanish Primera Division.

Goal.com reported in December that Los Blancos currently hold first option on purchasing Araujo, with the player himself stating: “Any offer that comes to me, they must first consult Real Madrid. If they are not interested, I can go to any club.”

It is believed that Madrid are indeed interested in securing his services, but would prefer to loan him to another La Liga side to allow him to gain experience and adapt to the difference in styles.

Sevilla are interested in such a deal having been provided with favourable scouting reports, and are willing to give him the platform to showcase his talents, with further developments expected in the close season.
